“Speaking truth to power,” was how Amira Hass, an Israeli journalist who has lived for many years in the occupied territories in Palestine, felicitously described her professional responsibility. Fortunately, many other great writers around the world share Hass’s philosophy of writing truth to power, and you can find recent articles by some of them here.
As for me, I’m a freelance writer, who continues to be inspired by these great writers to believe that a better world is not only possible, but necessary. I hope you will be inspired too.
